This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Facilitate organizational decision-making by conducting complex analyses, reporting, research, and effectively utilizing information-system data.
• Analyze and interpret trends and patterns within datasets.
• Perform both quantitative and qualitative data analyses utilizing SQL, dashboards, and Google spreadsheets.
• Collaborate with various teams within the organization to determine data visualization needs regarding customer feedback.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports that address issues, observations, and outcomes.
• Diagnose and resolve data-related issues in collaboration with stakeholders, including third-party representatives.
• Create specifications for reports and analyses based on business requirements and available data elements.
• Generate datasets and reports through system reporting tools.
• Formulate methodologies for the Business Intelligence team utilizing software applications and data sources.
• Identify, document, and initiate solutions for data quality concerns.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advocate for best practices and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and deliver recommendations grounded in precise assessments and analyses.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from an accredited four-year institution along with 2–5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a comparable blend of education and experience.
• Ability to cultivate productive internal and external working relationships.
• Proven history of data analysis and leveraging insights to inform key recommendations.
• Proficiency in managing large datasets across various systems.
• Excellent presentation skills with the capability to visualize and communicate data and insights effectively.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Advanced querying skills.
• Experience with Tableau, Hadoop, BigQuery system management, SSIS, SSRS, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office/G Suite.
• Competence in reading and creating technical documentation.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to research, validate, and document observations or issues in a meticulous, fact-based manner.
• Capability to develop and present recommendations based on accurate evaluations and/or analyses.
• Preferred: Knowledge of SQL scripting.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Python.
• Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow reporting.
• Ability to perform office-related tasks, including prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
• Ability to navigate within an office environment.
• Must be capable of using a computer.
• Must possess effective communication skills.
