Business Immigration Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Carefully prepare legal cases, strategies, and correspondence.

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of client cases at an expert level.

• Draft petitions for both immigrant and non-immigrant categories, particularly EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and Requests for Evidence (RFEs).

• Oversee project management and deadlines; create and amend documents as necessary.

• Clearly articulate legal terminology to clients in a timely manner.

• Investigate unique legal matters using relevant statutes and judicial rulings.

• Remain informed about legislative updates impacting immigration laws.

• Formulate solutions for intricate legal inquiries.

• Educate client companies and individuals regarding substantive legal subjects and new immigration laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, address client concerns, and assist with client projects.

• Liaise with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural matters, case processing, and strategy.

• Evaluate the eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for U.S. non-immigrant and immigrant visa classifications.

• Work in conjunction with global mobility teams and the office of general counsel.

• Prepare petitions and applications for submission to the Department of Labor and USCIS.

• Supervise paralegal staff in maintaining records and preparing documents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school, possess a strong academic record, and be admitted to a U.S. state bar in good standing.

• 1-2 years of experience with EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFEs is advantageous.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

• High-level organizational abilities are required.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Strong time management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced law firm environment.
