This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Vice President of Business Development is a high-level leadership position tasked with defining and implementing bswift’s comprehensive partnership strategy.
• This role is responsible for the vision, governance, and performance of integration and alliance partnerships aimed at enhancing bswift’s capabilities, driving growth, and improving client outcomes.
• Collaborating across various functions with executive leadership, product, sales, technology, and operations teams—as well as senior leaders at partner organizations—this role ensures that partnerships are strategically aligned, commercially viable, and operationally scalable.
• Serve as the senior executive point of contact for strategic partners and select enterprise clients.
• Develop and maintain trusted, long-lasting relationships with C-suite and executive-level stakeholders.
• Manage revenue outcomes associated with partnerships, including pipeline development, deal structuring, and long-term growth objectives.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or strategic alliances.
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex partnerships in benefits administration, HR technology, software, or insurance-related sectors.
• Experience in defining and operationalizing an enterprise-wide partnership strategy, which includes governance frameworks, partner segmentation, and success metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale structured partner ecosystems (e.g., carriers, payroll providers, brokers, HR tech platforms), rather than merely managing individual relationships.
• Experience in driving productized integrations or platform partnerships, including collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of integration dependencies, limitations, and scaling challenges within SaaS or platform-based ecosystems.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
