This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Position the organization to attract, enhance, and foster both current and future relationships with Veteran’s Business Enterprises.

• Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with collaborating organizations.

• Promote and develop training opportunities and programs.

• Lead and strategize external marketing initiatives for VBE development across various platforms, including: Social Media, Website(s), Newsletter, Telephone, and E-mail.

• Collaborate with the NaVOBA corporate relations team to guide VBE suppliers in obtaining NaVOBA certification through corporate partners.

• Work alongside the engagement team to ensure active participation in networking and training events, such as Operation Matchmaker.

• Oversee the Veteran’s Business Enterprise of the Year Award (VBEOY) Program.

• Coordinate survey participation and manage respondents.

• Assist with and supervise VBE event logistics.

• Engage in Digital Brand Creative Media Relations, Media Engagement, Press Releases, Co-branded sponsorship opportunities, Brand Management, Trade shows, and vendor booths.

• Participate in the daily operations of the organization related to the responsibilities of the position or as part of the standard office functions, similar to other staff members (i.e., special projects, conferences, logistics, etc.).

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in a non-profit or related role.

• Proven experience in organizational/resource development, personnel management, and financial/budget administration.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience in data analysis and IT management is a plus.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail; patience; ability to work independently while coordinating multiple diverse projects, setting realistic deadlines, and managing timelines.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Effective prioritization skills and capacity to work according to the organization’s needs.

• Willingness to learn and evolve with the organization.

• Strong commitment to community involvement.
