This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Prospect, identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities through calls, emails, social media, and other channels.
• Maintain a robust level of daily activity, which includes cold calls, emails, and social interactions.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products and services to effectively convey value propositions to prospects.
• Schedule qualified appointments and meetings for the small and medium business sales team.
• Document all activities in the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Actively participate in workshops, including role-playing sessions, copy creation, and call reviews to continuously enhance skills and learn best practices.
• Report on achievements in a data-driven manner while remaining mindful of the likelihood of success for each campaign.
• Provide constructive feedback for the development of talk tracks, standard email sequences, etc., aimed at improving a newly dedicated outbound motion for Spellbook!
• Collaborate with the BDR Manager to increase capacity and reach while enhancing engagement and conversion rates.
• Create and present new best practices, outreach strategies, and messaging techniques to the team.
• Work alongside leadership to implement and refine SDR/BDR processes and workflows.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitors to identify new growth opportunities.
• Manage an account list and/or territory, leveraging indicators, intent signals, and trends to engage prospects at the optimal time.
• Exhibit self-motivation and an understanding of the volume of inputs and activities required to achieve success.
• Possess technical proficiency with prospecting, sales engagement, and CRM tools, focusing on data tracking and hygiene in a shared digital environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the organization’s needs, consistent with the scope and level of this position.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant sales experience in a comparable role.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
• Experience in a startup environment or in establishing new processes is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Hubspot/Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft).
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
