This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Implement outbound prospecting efforts to cultivate qualified meetings and develop a pipeline within your designated territory.
• Engage in high-level discovery discussions with targeted accounts to comprehend their business needs, qualify opportunities, and create Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs).
• Achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly BDR-generated Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) goals by consistently transforming qualified prospects into opportunities.
• Conduct research and prioritize target accounts by leveraging business and industry insights to identify key players, uncover significant events, and formulate customized outreach strategies.
• Execute a multi-channel outreach approach (calls, emails, social media, etc.) to all prospects in your assigned territory using Outreach.io to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
• Oversee, monitor, and accurately report all prospecting activities and pipeline in Salesforce to ensure clear visibility into performance and forecasting.
• Collaborate with Field, Corporate, and Digital Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to create targeted account lists, campaigns, and calling strategies, as well as participate in regional marketing events to engage attendees, generate leads, and drive qualified Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs).
• Document and consistently enhance Business Development Representative processes in the GitLab handbook, working alongside your Business Development Manager, while mentoring new BDR hires to facilitate their rapid onboarding and navigation of key accounts.
• Proficiency in Polish.
• Energetic and positive phone skills, excellent listening abilities, and strong written communication skills.
• Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
• Proven track record of taking initiative and independently driving projects or activities to successful conclusions.

• Understanding of business processes, roles, and organizational structure.
• Demonstrated perseverance in pursuing goals, learning from challenges, and continually striving for strong outcomes.
• Enthusiasm for being part of GitLab's journey.
• Proficient in using Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Previous experience in the tech industry or in sales development, marketing, or sales is advantageous.
