• Our evaluation of BDRs is not based on activity metrics. We don't focus on the number of emails sent, calls made, or the appearance of your sequences on a dashboard.
• What truly matters to us is whether a genuine, qualified buyer attended a demo as a result of your efforts, and whether they converted. Two BDRs may perform the same number of actions, but one may generate three times the pipeline. • You possess 1 to 2 years of experience as a BDR or SDR in a B2B SaaS environment. We prioritize your results over the company you worked for. Be prepared to discuss your metrics, conversion rates, and the insights gained from accounts that didn't convert.
• Your focus is on outcomes rather than mere activity. If asked about your achievements last quarter, a response of "met 100% of my activity quota" indicates we may not be the best match. We prefer hearing "I generated $X in qualified pipeline, here's how I did it, and here's what I would change."
• You dislike the spray-and-pray approach. You prefer sending 5 well-researched emails over 50 generic ones, as you understand which method yields more meetings.
• You have a genuine curiosity about buyers. You strive to comprehend why roles such as Head of Compliance, Head of Engineering, or CTO are interested in Sprinto, what their weekly responsibilities entail, and the pressures they face. This curiosity differentiates a standard message from one that elicits a response.
• You aspire to secure the AE position, and you can articulate your reasons clearly. Not just "career growth," but specific motivations—what excites you about owning deals, conducting discovery, and engaging with customers.
• You are candid about what isn't working. If a campaign isn't effective, you acknowledge it. If your metrics are lacking, you don't conceal them. The quickest route to becoming an AE is being someone who accurately diagnoses issues and adapts swiftly.
