• The Informatics Business Development Representative is a skilled point-of-care software sales professional, adept at driving significant growth within their territory by securing new business and expanding current business opportunities.

• This role entails comprehensive selling of the RALS product across various segments, including Hospitals, POLs, Clinics, Urgent Cares, and Retail Pharmacies, specifically for RMDx (Rapid Diagnostics) Informatics.

• You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to expedite complex decision-making processes into quick wins.

• You will be responsible for generating profitable revenue and closing opportunities within your territory by initiating, developing, and/or delivering unique solutions that lead to enhanced customer outcomes and benefits.

• You will analyze and comprehend the strategic accounts assigned to you, including their business environment, goals, objectives, strategies, and competitive landscape.

• A thorough understanding of customer decision-makers and influencers is essential; you will build and maintain customer relationships to leverage for driving new sales and expanding existing business in the hospital space, particularly in decentralized locations, in collaboration with the Centralized Informatics Account Manager.

• You will proactively seek out opportunities or act on previously identified prospects to prepare and present account-specific Abbott value propositions that lead to positive actions.

• Acting as an internal advocate for the customer, you will foster internal relationships at Abbott and leverage them to achieve business objectives.

• You will identify and facilitate opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.

• A commitment to the development, implementation, and effectiveness of the ARDx Informatics’ Quality Management System in accordance with ISO, FDA, and other regulatory standards is required.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is necessary.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.

• At least 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of leading a sales cycle and crafting winning solutions is essential.

• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in informatics, data analytics, and lean process improvement within the Diagnostics industry is preferred.

• Proven expertise in all aspects of value-based, solution selling and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams to achieve well-defined objectives that benefit both the company and the customer is required.

• Strong skills in business planning, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools are necessary.

• Proven experience in sales support within large Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) is essential.

• Leadership experience, including managing client expectations, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams, and meeting project scope, schedule, and budget is required.

• Full familiarity with consultative selling techniques and methodologies is essential.

• A collaborative mindset with a focus on enterprise thinking is needed.

• Excellent interpersonal and influencing abilities; a willingness to engage in cross-functional teams is crucial.

• The ability to develop and advocate for new ideas and approaches is necessary.

• A working knowledge and skill set to guide discussions regarding laboratory informatics products is essential.
