Business Development Representative – Entry-level, Junior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Identify suitable researchers and gain a comprehensive understanding of their work to ensure outreach is genuinely pertinent.

• Compose concise and thoroughly researched emails to both researchers and sponsors.

• Manage email correspondence when recipients respond.

• Schedule calls for the account management team.

• Take responsibility for research, messaging, and performance metrics.

• Convert interest from researchers and sponsors into qualified deals for Trialfacts.

• Execute outreach through personalized, researched emails instead of high-volume campaigns.

• No previous sales experience necessary.

• Recent graduates, career changers, and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply.

• A strong drive to achieve targets.

• Confidence in reaching out to senior professionals.

• Resilience and a willingness to learn from rejection.

• Full-time dedication as the primary focus.

• Prior experience as an SDR, BDR, or in a target-driven environment is advantageous but not essential.
