Business Development Representative – DACH

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Identify and engage potential clients within the DACH region in the security sales sector using diverse lead generation methods, including cold calling, emailing, social media outreach, and participation in industry events.

• Perform comprehensive research on prospects to ascertain their specific security requirements, challenges, and key decision-makers.

• Create a steady stream of high-quality leads by consistently achieving or surpassing weekly and monthly objectives.

• Assess leads by comprehending their business needs and aligning them with our security solutions and services.

• Arrange meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified prospects.

• Collaborate with the sales team to devise and execute targeted sales strategies for particular industries, regions, or clients.

• Keep precise and current records of prospects, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system.

• Remain informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging security technologies to effectively position our solutions to prospects.

• Participate in sales training sessions and team meetings to continuously enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

• Offer insights to marketing and product teams based on interactions with prospects and customers to refine messaging and enhance product offerings.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be based in the UK or Germany.

• Proficiency in the German language is essential.

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline.

• 1-3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development within the cloud native, cybersecurity, or DevOps sectors.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building rapport and relationships with prospects and clients.

• Experience using CRM systems, preferably HubSpot CRM or Salesforce, along with other sales enablement tools.

• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, products, and services is highly advantageous.
