• As Leaseweb’s inaugural Business Development & Partnerships Manager in Ontario, you will spearhead the establishment of a new market in the Greater Toronto Area.
• Your role extends beyond merely selling IaaS and cloud services; you will position Leaseweb as a prominent sovereign cloud alternative to hyperscalers by fostering strategic partnerships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs), VARs, and system integrators.
• With a partner-first strategy, you will promote the adoption of our unique cloud ecosystem, empowering partners to provide secure, flexible, and locally hosted infrastructure solutions to their clients.
• You will oversee the complete commercial relationship with potential customers, guiding them from initial discussions through solution design, negotiations, and closing, before transitioning the account to Leaseweb’s delivery and support teams.
• This position requires a high degree of autonomy, energy, accountability, strong time management skills, and a relentless, relationship-driven commercial approach.
• A proven history of acquiring new logos and effective prospecting.
• More than 5 years of sales experience (B2B, ideally in technology).
• A robust network of contacts, particularly within the following sectors: SaaS, Gaming & VFX, AdTech, MarTech, MSPs, AI & Big Data, and e-Commerce.
• Demonstrated experience in the technology sector (mere interest is insufficient).
• Strong knowledge and expertise in IaaS and Cloud (relevant industries may be considered if you possess a solid understanding of cloud or SaaS).
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• The agility and adaptability to succeed in a rapidly evolving environment.
• A proactive mindset and a commitment to going the extra mile to convert leads into revenue.
• An innate ability to cultivate new business relationships (“new logos”).
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is crucial for effectively supporting clients across Canada.
• Experience within the IaaS & Cloud channel-partner ecosystem is a distinct advantage for this role.
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.
• Participation in the annual company bonus scheme.
• Group RRSP with employer contributions.
• Internet allowance.
• Fully remote work environment.
• Vacation entitlement based on your experience, plus 5 mobile days annually.
• Group insurance, telemedicine, and healthcare management account.
• Personalized learning platform offering a wide range of courses and training.
• Engaging events throughout the year – from virtual pub quizzes to summer parties, company runs, quarterly hackathons, and much more.
• A diverse work environment (our colleagues hail from over 60 countries!) in a company where you can truly make a difference.
• Coverage for travel expenses, including mileage.
