This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Originate Small Business Administration (SBA) loans, equipment leasing, and Asset-Based Lending (ABL) financing transactions for small businesses across the country.
• Build and nurture relationships with customers and brokers who directly engage with small business owners.
• Leverage networking and referrals to create business leads and identify potential borrowers among small business owners.
• Develop and enhance market penetration within designated locations and sectors.
• Illustrate the benefits of Celtic Bank’s entrepreneurial lending philosophy and its capacity to meet the needs of small business owners nationwide.
• Collaborate with the Chief Business Development Officer and Celtic Bank’s marketing team to formulate marketing and sales strategies.
• Generate leads, prepare complete financing applications, submit loan packages for underwriting, and present loan requests to the Credit Committee.
• Identify credit opportunities within the target market and propose funding solutions.
• Secure customer-signed commitments post-loan approval and coordinate the transaction funding with the Bank’s Operations Group.
• Meet annual production targets.
• Actively utilize Salesforce and other relevant origination systems to facilitate deal flow.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of five years of sales experience within the financial services sector.
• Strong background in the SBA industry is preferred.
• Demonstrated sales success in addressing the financial needs of Small Business Owners, with a proven ability to expand business prospects.
• Consistent production of $10MM to $12MM+ annually over the preceding three years.
• Experience in marketing and risk management.
• Strong skills in credit and commercial lending.
• Proficient understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and loan structuring.
• Basic knowledge of the SBA Loan Program.
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong skills in account relationship management and business development/B2B sales.
• An active referral network is preferred.
• The position may be based in a preferred national location.
