This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Propel business growth and enhance market presence within key European tire and rubber sectors.
• Recognize and seize strategic opportunities.
• Build and maintain robust customer relationships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost revenue growth.
• Improve profitability and facilitate long-term business development.
• Formulate and implement strategic business development plans for Europe to meet growth objectives.
• Identify new markets, emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and unexploited customer opportunities.
• Conduct market sizing, segmentation, and customer value assessments to guide commercial strategies.
• Provide strategic insights to senior leadership regarding market conditions.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key customers, distributors, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Assist in key account development, including strategic planning and long-term value generation.
• Oversee multiple NPI projects and monitor sales performance throughout the region.
• Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and industry events across Europe.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• 10 years of experience in tire/rubber business and/or application development, sales, or commercial leadership within the European region.
• Demonstrated success in driving revenue through innovation and establishing new business within the tire/rubber industry.
• Experience in a matrixed, global organization is essential.
• Strong commercial insight with strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage diverse stakeholders across various countries and cultures.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Proficiency in English is required; additional European languages (German, French, Italian, Spanish, etc.) are preferred, and additional APAC languages (Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.) are highly advantageous.
