This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Concentrate on creating a robust sales pipeline.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with customers to drive revenue enhancement.
• Establish ABB as a pivotal player in delivering flexible, secure, and scalable automation solutions.
• Broaden ABB’s reach within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as larger manufacturing entities.
• Promote the specification of ABB robots and ABB Function Packages in applications relevant to General Industries.
• Collaborate effectively with ABB’s robotics channel partners and regional sales teams to foster robotics opportunity development and qualification.
• Facilitate technical discovery sessions and product demonstrations to highlight robotics capabilities and value propositions.
• Work in partnership with marketing to execute targeted campaigns, regional events, and webinars to enhance awareness of ABB's offerings.
• Represent ABB at industry trade shows, expos, and automation events to boost ABB Robotics visibility and market presence.
• Provide customer feedback to global product management and engineering teams to assist in portfolio development.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitive products and industry trends in the robotics sector.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Business, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within industrial automation, robotics, or collaborative robotics; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, such as an Associate's degree and 7+ years.
• Extensive experience and knowledge in environments central to General Industry manufacturing and production settings.
• General familiarity with automation; experience in robotic automation is preferred.
• Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to oversee a sales pipeline.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the U.S., with a concentration in your designated territory.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to articulate value-based selling strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences are essential.
• Candidates must possess valid work authorization allowing them to work for ABB in the U.S.
• Option to choose between two medical plan alternatives: a PPO plan known as the Copay Plan OR a High Deductible Health Plan (with a Health Savings Account) referred to as the High Deductible Plan.
