This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Address pre-sales technical inquiries related to client and server systems for VAR(s) account managers and their customers.
• Conduct onsite visits to designated VARs as instructed by AMD to foster and enhance relationships.
• Motivate VAR sales representatives and account managers to more frequently quote client and server products.
• Take ownership of a pipeline of client and server opportunities within VAR accounts, identifying revenue potential and strategic markets or customers.
• Follow up on AMD client and server bidding opportunities with VARs.
• Achieve AMD revenue objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Utilize AMD partner resources to maximize closing rates.
• Advocate for the use of VAR partner tools, which may include online training, bid desk, trade-in programs, value-add promotions, and other sales incentive initiatives.
• Provide consistent feedback regarding the effectiveness of the tools as issues arise.
• Engage in co-selling and sponsored activities, such as floor days, tabletops, and events *(if permissible by all relevant parties).
• Gather and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to identify strengths and growth opportunities, delivering a trend analysis each month.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Extensive experience in the Public Sector, specifically within VAR Channel sales.
• Strong comprehension of the VAR Channel ecosystem with the capacity to learn and adapt swiftly.
• A college degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• Exceptional oral, written, and presentation communication abilities.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering group presentations or training sessions.
• Proficient time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
