This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Serve as a sales and business development representative for Scope in the regions of Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo, Donegal, and Leitrim.
• Act as the primary local contact for pharmacy, optician, and general practice clients.
• Conduct sales calls and presentations, including outreach to specialized hospital and healthcare department contacts.
• Advocate for Scope products and enhance product utilization among targeted customers.
• Achieve predetermined sales, activity, and various business and marketing goals.
• Utilize Scope’s Infinity sales model and promotional resources to reinforce sales messages.
• Collaborate with Scope colleagues and external stakeholders, including joint action planning efforts.
• Share and implement effective practices throughout the territory and nationally when appropriate.
• Develop annual action plans for the territory and manage promotional budgets to ensure a positive return on investment.
• Organize activities, submit field visit reports, and oversee spending and performance relative to objectives.
• Perform monthly analyses of sales and activities using the CRM system.
• Keep up-to-date with product, therapy area, competitor, and market information.
• Assist in account planning and foster relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
• Track developments in HSE, retail pharmacy, competition, structural changes, personnel, and policy and report market intelligence.
• Engage in development days, training sessions, shadow visits, and personal growth activities.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM, documenting customer activities and account insights.
• Utilize company systems and business processes efficiently and complete administrative tasks with precision.
• Ensure company equipment is kept in good working order.
• A 3rd level qualification is preferred, with a science degree being advantageous.
• 1-3 years of experience as a healthcare representative in the medical sales field.
• Proven track record of high performance against established objectives and competencies.
• Possession of a full driving license.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages is preferred.
• Capability to interpret sales trends and effectively collect, organize, and utilize data for account and territory analysis and planning.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret substantial clinical information regarding diseases and products.
• Proficiency in using business software like CRM systems, expense tools, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Capacity to work independently, generate, prioritize, and manage personal workload.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural, and matrix organizational structure.
