
Business Development Manager – International Student Recruitment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Azerbaijan.
• Supervise all activities related to student recruitment, business development, account management, and marketing events for B2B channels within the designated country or region.
• Partner with Company Directors to enhance B2B channels.
• Execute marketing and sales strategies aimed at promoting international student recruitment for GUS.
• Act as a representative for one of our universities or colleges situated in Europe, North America, or Asia.
• You should possess experience in international student recruitment within the higher education sector.
• You must have a robust and relevant agency network along with strong relationships with key stakeholders in these agencies.
• A deep understanding of industry trends is crucial for guiding the group's strategic planning and forecasting.
• You should have experience in training and developing education agents on how to effectively promote the brand you represent.
• You will have a background in sourcing agents from fairs, business trips, inquiries, referrals, and general searches related to business development responsibilities.
• Experience in generating new revenue from existing streams and accounts, as well as identifying new opportunities, is essential.
• You must have a proven history of identifying, supporting, and nurturing potential business partners while strengthening existing client relationships.
• You should have experience in conducting client research, including (but not limited to) engaging with key industry players.
• You will be a highly driven individual who aims for success across all areas.
• You should be confident in delivering workshops, presentations, hosting conferences, and being in front of the camera.
• Experience with Salesforce or database management is preferred.
• We welcome applicants who have directly represented an institution (located anywhere within your region) or those with significant agency experience managing a sub-network of agents.
• This position is exclusively available under our consultancy agreement.
• The post holder may be required to perform different or additional duties in accordance with business needs at the request of their line manager.
