Business Development Manager – Industrial and Critical Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive solution concepts and strategies that align with the distinctive operational needs of the ICI sector.

• Move beyond conventional physical security to articulate operational ROI and safety solutions utilizing Axis core technologies and partner ecosystems.

• Formulate clear and targeted solutions and strategies across all sub-segments of the ICI vertical.

• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with end-users by comprehending their specific business initiatives and risk profiles.

• Offer strategic guidance for essential Axis Development Partner (ADP) collaborations relevant to the Canadian ICI market.

• Foster and expand connections with National Solution Integrators (NSIs) that focus on critical infrastructure.

• Collaborate with significant industry associations and regulatory organizations to advance technology standards and safety protocols.

• Represent Axis at ICI-focused industry events, trade shows, and conferences as a subject matter expert and keynote speaker.

• Provide regional insights to the Canadian and Americas sales teams concerning complex, large-scale ICI projects, regulatory frameworks, and procurement policies.

• Discover new market prospects and innovative applications for IP-based devices in the ICI sector, including both physical security and industrial IoT.

• Deliver monthly reports on market trends, competitive analysis, and pipeline development to management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as a security or operational expert within the Critical Infrastructure sector.

• A well-established professional network of end-users, consultants, and partners within the Canadian ICI landscape (Oil & Gas, Mining, Energy, etc.).

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and standards relevant to Canadian Critical Infrastructure.
