Business Development Manager – Defence Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will identify and secure new customers.

• You will collaborate closely with regional and European teams to effectively realize strategic business opportunities.

• You will take charge of managing the complete sales process.

• You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, market penetration, and building sustainable customer relationships.


⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in business development or sales within the defense sector, with an established network and a solid understanding of the bidding/proposal process.

• A strong commercial/entrepreneurial mindset with exceptional negotiation abilities and a strong focus on closing deals.

• Technical comprehension and the capacity to prepare complex information for the target audience, translating it into clear customer value.

• High self-motivation and independence, coupled with a proactive and solution-oriented working style.

• A strong team player with excellent stakeholder management capabilities.

• A proven track record in acquiring new customers through methods such as cold calling, marketing campaigns, trade shows, or social selling.

• Solid experience in utilizing CRM systems and generating reliable sales forecasts.

• Familiarity with national and international export control and compliance requirements (e.g., ITAR, EU Dual-Use regulations, etc.).

• Knowledge of heat treatment, metallurgy, or related fields is considered an advantage.

• Business-fluent in German and English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
