This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute market analysis to uncover trends, opportunities, and potential clientele in the hyperscalers and colocation sectors.
• Assess competitor actions and market dynamics to shape business strategies.
• Build and nurture relationships with influential decision-makers at hyperscalers and colocation service providers.
• Grasp client requirements, challenges, and strategic goals to customize solutions and proposals.
• Assist with the needs and initiatives of existing customers as necessary.
• Identify and evaluate new business prospects through networking, industry events, and outreach.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to create compelling value propositions and solutions.
• Craft and deliver business proposals, encompassing pricing strategies, service offerings, and value propositions.
• Negotiate terms and conditions to finalize agreements and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support the sales pipeline by monitoring progress and forecasting revenue.
• Guarantee timely follow-up and closure of deals.
• Partner with technical, product, and support teams to ensure smooth solution delivery.
• Provide insights on market trends and customer needs to guide product development and strategy.
• Generate regular reports on business development endeavors, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
• Evaluate performance metrics to pinpoint areas for enhancement and optimize strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within the technology, data center, or colocation sectors.
• Demonstrated success in closing deals and driving revenue growth.
• Willingness to travel between 30%-50% of the time as required by business needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
• Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret market data and trends.
• Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• In-depth understanding of the hyperscalers and colocation marketplace.
• Familiarity with data center operations, infrastructure, and technology.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
