This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Promote and specify Siteworks product offerings to civil, plumbing, mechanical, and site development engineers across the United States.
• Establish trench drain solutions as a foundational element in engineering specifications, enhancing market penetration and driving sales growth.
• Identify and connect with key engineers nationwide.
• Develop and sustain relationships with engineers, specifiers, and design professionals.
• Educate engineers on the features, benefits, and applications of Siteworks products, including trench drains and interceptors.
• Conduct product presentations, lunch-and-learns, technical seminars, and onsite training sessions.
• Position Zurn Siteworks as the standard in project specifications.
• Review project drawings and specifications to uncover opportunities for product substitutions.
• Collaborate with manufacturer representatives and sales teams.
• Provide technical support and guidance to both internal teams and external partners.
• Utilize the CRM system to document interactions, monitor project specifications, and manage the opportunity pipeline.
• Communicate job opportunities and project updates to relevant team members.
• Leverage Dodge Construction Network and ConstructConnect to identify projects and track specifications.
• Offer insights on market trends, competitive activities, and specification challenges.
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3 years of experience in specification business development within the plumbing sector.
• Capability to influence engineering specifications and foster product adoption.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to comprehend and convey complex product information.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Active involvement in relevant industry associations is advantageous.
