This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop and execute sales strategies aimed at increasing market share for metalworking fluids, industrial part cleaners, and corrosion inhibitors/rust preventatives.
• Identify and seek out new business opportunities while managing and nurturing existing accounts.
• Conduct on-site visits to customers to evaluate applications, resolve issues, and propose optimal solutions.
• Collaborate with clients on fluid trials, process assessments, and system conversions.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply terms to finalize deals while ensuring profitability.
• Monitor fluid maintenance programs, usage patterns, and plant performance to guarantee product effectiveness.
• Coordinate with internal technical and service teams to provide exemplary customer support.
• Represent the company at trade shows, technical symposiums, and industry events.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial chemical sales, preferably with metalworking fluids, industrial cleaners, or rust preventative products.
• Knowledge of CNC machining coolants and chemistry.
• Strong comprehension of machining, metal forming, and surface treatment processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
• Technically credible and comfortable interacting with engineers, plant managers, and purchasing staff.
• Self-motivated with outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Capable of working independently and traveling frequently within the assigned territory.
