This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Engaged in Business Development and Direct Sales with a primary emphasis on the Private Sector (B2B); experience within the Public Sector is highly advantageous.
• Actively participating in our market entry strategy in the Netherlands (greenfield setup): establishing a pipeline, customer base, and market visibility alongside the Country Manager.
• Serving as the operational “right hand” to the Country Manager while leveraging the robust infrastructure provided by our German headquarters, particularly in Delivery, Product, and Operations.
• Identifying new business opportunities and crafting customized solutions for diverse industries.
• Formulating and implementing local business development strategies to expand our SaaS portfolio.
• Proactively acquiring new clients through direct sales methods and targeted account development.
• Overseeing and strategically enhancing existing customer relationships throughout the entire customer lifecycle (Key Account Management).
• Cultivating a strong network of customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Developing and sustaining a partner ecosystem (resellers, system integrators, distributors) in close coordination with the German headquarters.
• Collaborating closely with internal teams (Delivery, Legal Engineering, AI Engineering, Configuration, PMO, Service) to ensure successful implementations and long-term customer satisfaction.
• Coordinating with Product Management and Marketing to optimally position our solutions in the Dutch market.
• Representing Rulemapping at events, meetups, and on social media.
• A university degree in Business Administration, STEM, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Key Account Management — experience in the Private Sector is necessary, with a SaaS/tech background strongly preferred.
• Additional experience in the Public Sector or GovTech is a significant advantage.
• A solid understanding of SaaS business models, cloud technologies, and processes of digital transformation.
• A strong closing mindset paired with strategic thinking in customer development.
• Confident communication skills at the C-level and exceptional negotiation abilities.
• Experience with agile working methodologies and contemporary collaboration models.
• A high level of ownership, a builder mindset, and the motivation to take responsibility in an early market phase.
• Language proficiency: Dutch (C2), English (C1), with additional languages being a plus.
