This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Identify and seek out new business opportunities within the EU pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
• Conduct research on markets and accounts to facilitate targeted outreach and opportunity development.
• Generate and qualify leads through methods such as prospecting, networking, and participating in industry events.
• Develop and sustain strong working relationships with both clients and potential clients.
• Serve as a key commercial contact during the pre-award phase, assisting in discussions regarding scope, timelines, and services.
• Promote ongoing client engagement to foster repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Coordinate input for RFPs, RFIs, and proposals in collaboration with internal specialists.
• Contribute to proposal strategy, content creation, and client presentations.
• Assist in commercial discussions and facilitate the transition to delivery teams once opportunities are secured.
• Keep accurate records of opportunity tracking in the CRM system.
• Aid in sales reporting and pipeline assessments, including basic forecasting.
• Ensure prompt follow-up on active opportunities in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Represent P95 & Julius Clinical at scientific conferences, congresses, and client meetings.
• Enhance the visibility and reputation of P95 and Julius Clinical within the European clinical research and Real-World Evidence (RWE) community.
• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development within a CRO.
• Experience in supporting or leading the sales of Real-World Evidence (RWE) services or clinical research.
• Familiarity with infectious diseases, vaccines, neurology, or cardiometabolic research is a plus.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Strong aptitude for understanding client needs and delivering customized solutions.
• Proven success in generating RFPs, converting leads, closing deals, and meeting sales targets.
• Pragmatic, energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented achiever.
• Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and business acumen.
• Culturally sensitive and adaptable in diverse environments.
