This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Collaborate closely with Sales and cross-functional teams in IP to pinpoint and assess business opportunities.
• Formulate and implement business development strategies for the Mission Critical Segment in Japan.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with key clients and partners.
• Perform market research and analysis to uncover trends and potential new business prospects.
• Work in conjunction with product management and engineering teams to ensure that solutions align with customer requirements.
• Create and present proposals and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Negotiate and finalize deals, ensuring a positive experience for customers.
• Provide consistent updates and reports regarding business development activities and progress.
• Remain informed about industry trends and competitor actions, offering valuable insights to the team.
• Assist the team in reaching business objectives and contributing to the overall success of the segment.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a comparable position, ideally within the telecom sector.
• A demonstrated history of successful business development and deal closures.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
• Strong analytical abilities and familiarity with market research and analysis tools.
• In-depth knowledge of IP/MPLS technologies and solutions is highly favored.
• Capability to work independently and manage various projects at the same time.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Openness to travel as necessary for business development efforts.
