This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +25 more states.
• Evaluate solicitation documents, including Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other bidding requests to ascertain proposal requirements and response strategies.
• Organize, coordinate, and lead proposal teams made up of internal staff, subject matter experts, subcontractors, and partnering organizations.
• Create proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and submission plans to guarantee the punctual delivery of high-quality proposals.
• Oversee proposal development activities from the initial kickoff to final production and submission.
• Mentor and guide contributors on effective proposal writing, compliance standards, and best practices in proposal preparation.
• Ensure all proposal content is precise, compliant, compelling, and in accordance with customer specifications.
• Act as the main point of contact between proposal teams, corporate leadership, teaming partners, and stakeholders throughout the proposal process.
• Identify potential proposal risks, challenges, and resource limitations, and develop strategies for mitigation.
• Coordinate color team reviews and integrate feedback into the final proposal submissions.
• Promote continuous improvement of proposal processes, templates, tools, and best practices.
• Maintain proposal documentation and assist with business development initiatives as necessary.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• At least three (3) years of experience in preparing proposals for Federal Government and/or Department of Defense contracts.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing team-oriented projects with various stakeholders and deadlines.
• Solid understanding of Federal acquisition processes and solicitation criteria.
• Outstanding written, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven capability to handle multiple priorities and adhere to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to successfully pass a NACI Background Investigation.
