This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to guarantee that Banner solutions are effectively positioned for liquid cooling, safety, cabling, and condition monitoring in data centers.
• Develop and sustain relationships with hyperscalers, consulting engineers, OEMs, and other partners in the network that provide products, systems, or services for data center construction.
• Work alongside engineering firms to advocate for Banner solutions.
• Ensure the inclusion of Banner products in Approved Vendor Lists (AVLs) and design specifications.
• Collaborate with hyperscaler procurement teams in vendor qualification and contracting procedures.
• Manage long-cycle sales processes ranging from 12 to 24 months while overseeing a robust pipeline of hyperscale projects.
• Demonstrate the ability to handle large, complex projects that encompass various regions or areas of interest, including contractors, subcontractors, consultants, distributors, and end users.
• Partner with distribution associates for project fulfillment and execution.
• Coordinate with Banner’s Contractor/Integrator-focused internal Business Development Manager to ensure downstream execution at panel shops and contractors that meet hyperscaler specifications.
• Engage in industry trade shows, associations, or other strategic events to enhance Banner's market presence.
• Achieve or surpass annual sales targets and pipeline development objectives.
• Monitor and report on anticipated orders, ensuring clear visibility of outcomes.
• Maintain precise records and documentation related to all opportunities, including timely updates in the CRM system.
• Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales within the data center ecosystem, with established relationships across hyperscalers (AWS, Google, Microsoft, Meta, etc.).
• Possess an existing network within hyperscalers, OEMs, consulting engineers, or MEP contractors.
• Demonstrated technical sales proficiency and knowledge in automation/controls, sensing, cabling, and safety systems.
• Cultivate existing business relationships and broaden contact databases while identifying new departments and areas of interest within these accounts.
• Strong proactive prospecting and data mining capabilities utilizing tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Zoom.
• Proven track record in influencing design specifications and managing extended sales cycles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to effectively manage long-term projects and collaborate across teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to engage with distributors or customers.
