This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• The Service Sales Business Development Manager is responsible for creating tactical and strategic customer plans aimed at achieving financial orders, sales, and margin objectives.
• Tasked with expanding the ABB EL Services portfolio, which includes service engineering solutions, hardware solutions, aftermarket parts, and ABB Ability Digital Solutions within the Los Angeles metro region.
• Responsible for identifying, developing, and securing orders while aligning with both short-term and long-term business goals.
• Access the market through a blend of direct engagement with end customers, the ABB EL Rep Network, ABB’s C&I, OEM, and Utility Sales Channels, Distribution Customers, and Direct End-Users.
• Play a key role in executing the service sales strategy, focusing on penetrating the installed base and promoting various upgrade, retrofit, and value-added solutions.
• A bachelor's degree in Business or a STEM field is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or marketing within the electrical distribution services sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical power studies, switchgear, circuit breakers, and protective relaying, as well as the industrial, commercial, and utility markets.
• Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships effectively.
• A collaborative and solution-oriented approach, accompanied by strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A self-motivated, energetic individual who contributes positively to the team environment.
• Demonstrable success in generating new customer volume and expanding trade areas.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
