This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.
• Collaborate directly with Agents to discover, pursue, and finalize new business opportunities.
• Assist in prospecting activities, pipeline creation, and deal strategy within the designated region.
• Support enterprise and complex projects, including RFPs, Freight Projects, Managed Transportation opportunities, and strategic account development.
• Drive growth within current accounts, concentrating on increasing share of wallet and mode diversification.
• Foster robust working relationships with Agents, serving as a primary resource for business development assistance.
• Aid Agents in formulating and implementing growth strategies that align with their specific business objectives.
• Facilitate business reviews to pinpoint areas for growth, retention, and enhancement.
• Enhance engagement throughout the Agent network within the assigned territory.
• Act as a liaison between Agents and internal departments such as Pricing, Advanced Services, Contracts, and Administration.
• Ensure Agents have access to necessary tools, data, and support to win and expand their business.
• Partner with Sales Operations and Marketing to assist with sales materials, reporting, business reviews, and insights.
• Stay informed about market trends, capacity conditions, and competitive dynamics.
• Convert market insights into actionable opportunities for Agents.
• Identify obstacles to growth and assist in finding solutions.
• Help discover and engage potential new Agents.
• Support recruitment initiatives when necessary to promote long-term network expansion.
• Participate in special projects and perform any other assigned tasks as needed.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Preferred experience in business development, sales, or account growth.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with diverse audiences.
• Capability to influence without direct authority and work collaboratively across functions.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple opportunities at once.
• Comfortable working remotely with potential travel requirements (up to ~50%).
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
• Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously and achieve results.
• Candidates residing in the western half of the United States are preferred.
