
Business Development Leader – CRS, Hydropower & Renewables

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement strategic sales and business development initiatives to foster profitable growth within designated markets.
• Identify, cultivate, and monitor opportunities in Hydropower and Renewables projects.
• Establish and maintain robust relationships with AEC firms, design professionals, contractors, distributors, owners, and public authorities.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives to provide presentations, product demonstrations, and consultative technical solutions.
• Conduct market research to assess customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
• Assist with product launches and develop go-to-market strategies.
• Offer technical support through client education, jobsite visits, and industry presentations.
• Broaden networks of engineers, contractors, and key industry influencers.
• Represent MAPEI at trade shows, industry events, and professional associations.
• Work collaboratively across departments to align strategies and share insights.
• Comply with all MAPEI policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
• Execute assigned duties in accordance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety regulatory standards.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field is preferred; a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Over 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or technical sales within the construction materials sector or a related industry.
• Extensive experience in construction restoration systems or relevant product/market segments.
• Demonstrated experience working on Hydropower and Renewables construction projects, specifications, and engagement with key industry stakeholders.
• Experience in supporting product launches, technical presentations, or specification development is preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude combined with a consultative sales approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel as required to support projects, customers, and industry events.
• Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $140,000 based on experience.
• Annual discretionary bonus contingent on individual performance and company outcomes.
