This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Seek out prospective clients by visiting medical facilities and engaging with physicians and health care professionals.
• Identify both non-compounding and compounding pharmacies and successfully transition their business to Medisca.
• Enhance Medisca’s market share within current accounts.
• Utilize existing health care compounding prescribers to promote Medisca's brand effectively.
• Identify health care professionals and provide education on compounding to boost prescription rates.
• Foster collaboration among physicians, pharmacists, and Medisca.
• Achieve monthly sales targets while keeping an eye on profit margins.
• Analyze trends within the territory to uncover potential opportunities.
• Consistently monitor and enhance pharmacist business.
• Follow up with clients regarding sales and product availability through inbound and outbound phone calls and emails.
• Propose new revenue streams and products.
• Ensure that client data and communications are kept up-to-date and relevant within systems.
• Proactively engage with clients to guarantee they receive the necessary support.
• Generate sales from both inactive and new customers.
• Conduct cold calls to potential customers and identify business opportunities.
• Research new client possibilities and follow up on referrals from current clients.
• Establish new accounts and facilitate the onboarding process.
• Collaborate effectively with the Account Executive.
• Discuss current accounts with the Account Executive and strategize on ways to grow the business.
• Inform the Account Executive about the planning cycle to maximize synergies and account interactions.
• Provide leads and referrals for visits.
• Travel for client meetings, trade shows, training, and other related events.
• A degree from a college or university.
• A background in sales or science is advantageous.
• Experience as a pharmacy technician, knowledge of compounding, or a role as a representative in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Previous experience in a sales position.
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, formulate strategies, and close sales effectively.
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Charismatic, dynamic, and engaging personality.
• Excellent communication and listening skills; fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook) is required.
