This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Lead the execution of a go-to-market strategy for IBM Software by identifying opportunities within partners and emerging markets.
• Enhance relationships with current partners while seeking out new strategic opportunities.
• Drive sell-through by delivering value-based solutions.
• Foster strong, collaborative connections with IBM and relevant stakeholders.
• Negotiate effectively to align objectives and promote success.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs through actionable insights that guide strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, operations) to implement synchronized strategies and provide consistent partner value.
• Engage directly with partners and resellers to comprehend business challenges and customize IBM Software solutions to address evolving requirements.
• Provide comprehensive IBM-based solutions, positioning products within a wider IT context to fulfill client needs.
• Advocate for our digital ecosystem, including the Xvantage platform, to facilitate smarter, quicker, and more efficient partner interactions.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, account management, or category/vendor development (preferably in technology or distribution).
• A proven history of surpassing sales targets and fostering revenue growth.
• Strong grasp of solution selling and business development methodologies.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Experience in territory planning and business partner strategy.
• A strategic mindset with the capacity to utilize data for decision-making.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and managing multiple priorities.
• Proficient in forecasting, pipeline management, and financial analysis.
• A passion for technology, partner success, and ongoing learning.
• Willingness to travel for partner and vendor engagements up to 40% of the time.
