This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Opportunity Origination: Utilize established executive connections and warm introductions from the Lead Generation & Inside Sales Associate to discover and qualify new consulting prospects.
• Solution Development: Work closely with Voyage’s Delivery Directors and Managing Director to develop customized solutions that meet client priorities, balancing strategic significance with operational viability.
• Client Engagement: Facilitate consultative discussions with C-suite and SVP-level executives to comprehend challenges, identify needs, and position Voyage as a trusted collaborator.
• Sales Management: Manage the complete sales cycle – from initial introduction through scoping, proposal, negotiation, and closure – ensuring a smooth transition to delivery.
• Procurement Navigation: Steer opportunities through intricate client purchasing and contracting processes, aligning internal and client stakeholders to preserve momentum and clarity.
• Relationship Development: Establish and maintain long-term executive relationships, earning trust through credibility, consistency, and results.
• Market Awareness: Remain knowledgeable about industry trends, regulatory updates, and technological advancements relevant to Voyage’s target sectors.
• Pipeline Management: Keep all opportunity data and forecasting updated in Pipedrive, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and consistent reporting.
• Over 10 years of experience in management consulting business development roles.
• Demonstrated success in selling consulting or professional services to large enterprises with over $500M in revenue.
• Previous consulting delivery experience in roles such as consultant, engagement manager, or practice lead.
• An established network of C-level and senior executives in the utilities, financial services, and/or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of service transformation, process improvement, business process modeling, change management, and project/program management.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, complemented by a professional and executive demeanor.
• Experience with Pipedrive or a similar CRM system for managing pipeline and forecasts.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
