This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets by marketing Belay’s range of neuro-pathology solutions to designated customers.
• Engage prospective clients, finalize deals, and drive revenue growth.
• Secure new hospitals and health systems by selling directly to Neurosurgeons, Neurologists, Neuro-oncologists, and Medical Oncologists.
• Conduct technical presentations to gain commitment from key decision-makers.
• Collaborate with laboratory leadership and administrative teams to establish Belay as an approved reference laboratory.
• Utilize internal resources to demonstrate clinical utility, create medical justification, and convey the brand’s value proposition.
• Position Belay Diagnostics as a leading center of excellence in neuro-oncology and drive neuro-pathology business from targeted customer segments.
• Work alongside internal partners to facilitate customer onboarding.
• Act as the main point of contact for new clients until the transition is complete.
• Oversee new account setup, pricing discussions, and vendor approvals for hospitals and health systems.
• Ensure the specimen send-out process to Belay is streamlined prior to hand-off.
• Transfer new customers to the Territory Account Manager upon completing the hand-off checklist.
• Record customer interactions in the CRM tool.
• Collaborate with Operations to relay relevant information to customers.
• Address customer-facing issues promptly and effectively.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and provide updates to Senior Leadership.
• Offer customer insights for product enhancement and optimization of services.
• Deliver work products in a timely and professional manner.
• Bachelor’s degree with over 8 years of experience in the IVD testing industry.
• Relevant experience in sales targeting hospitals and health systems.
• Experience managing extensive territories requiring overnight travel.
• High proficiency in Excel, CRM platforms, Concur, and other standard business applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Experience working with laboratory personnel, including support staff and laboratory directors.
• Proven history of sales success in a related role.
• Ability to convey technical details related to highly specialized testing.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
• Documented examples of successful business development initiatives.
• Experience selling laboratory tests in the Oncology sector, preferably NGS-based assays.
• Capability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment and adapt to evolving business requirements.
