Business Development Director, Clinical Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Initiate, coordinate, and create strategic plans and sales strategies within designated territories or accounts.

• Develop account strategies and implementation plans while expanding through existing accounts.

• Identify new markets and explore potential business opportunities.

• Pinpoint likely sales points within specific territories or accounts.

• Gather essential information for proposal preparation and provide detailed input and leadership throughout the proposal process.

• Prepare and organize presentations for sponsors.

• Ensure team readiness for client meetings, including Capabilities meetings and Bid Defence Meetings.

• Coordinate and oversee budget or contract negotiations once work is awarded.

• Collaborate with operations to monitor study status and manage change orders when project scopes change.

• Establish and maintain consistent communication and strong relationships with current and prospective clients.

• Monitor and analyze competitor CRO activities.

• Plan and participate in major industry events and tradeshows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in CRO sales.

• Strong negotiation and analytical abilities.

• Preferably experienced in the UK and Nordic regions.

• Established network of decision-makers within Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology companies.

• Proven success in identifying and securing profitable service contracts.

• Awareness of trends and government policies and regulations in the clinical trials domain of Ergomed Group countries.

• Excellent communication skills and capabilities in team leadership.

• Strong and effective presentation skills.

• Outstanding organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on results and customer satisfaction.

• Willingness to travel as required by the business development strategy.
