This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Acquire new logos by effectively presenting Thermo Fisher’s comprehensive capabilities in small and large molecule drug substance manufacturing, sterile drug product fill and finish, advanced therapies, and oral solid dose manufacturing.
• Identify potential leads, assess opportunities, and connect with prospective clients to understand their requirements and showcase our value proposition.
• Collaborate closely with Business Development Executives to promote growth initiatives, manage customer communications, and oversee the sales pipeline using our CRM system.
• Establish robust relationships, deliver compelling presentations, and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• An MBA or a postgraduate scientific degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience within the life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, or CDMO environment, ideally with some exposure to sales or business development.
• A highly competitive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in conducting outreach and engaging with new contacts.
• Exceptional research, organizational, and follow-up abilities.
• Proven capability to operate effectively within a matrix organization and influence without direct authority.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to create strategic solutions.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 percent for customer meetings, conferences, and to showcase Thermo Fisher facilities.
