Business Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Aids in the design, development, and execution of new reporting requirements.

• Collects and translates the needs and requirements of non-technical end users and stakeholders into query development and design.

• Addresses ad-hoc reporting/data requests.

• Conducts data validation to guarantee the completeness and accuracy of queries and reports, and resolves discrepancies.

• Supports the assessment and prioritization of reported issues and communicates status and resolutions to relevant users.

• Engages in the upkeep of existing queries and reports, modifying and enhancing them as necessary.

• Aids in the creation of data visualizations and dashboards in PowerBI to represent defined KPIs.

• Contributes to presenting complex concepts and results to end users and stakeholders.

• Involved in the transition from Tableau to PowerBI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Services, or a related technical or healthcare field – highly preferred.

• Experience in the medical/healthcare industry - preferred.

• Required knowledge of data collection, storage, and maintenance concepts.

• Familiarity with predictive modeling - a plus.

• Skills in database organization, design, and maintenance.

• Ability to troubleshoot database programs.

• Proficiency in SQL – required.

• Proficiency in PowerBI - required.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel (Pivot Tables/Look-Ups), Access, and OneNote – required.

• Knowledge of Alteryx and/or Tableau - preferred.
