📋 Description

• Control Risks’ Embedded Consulting team is seeking a Business Continuity Specialist to assist a technology sector client in establishing its corporate business continuity program.

• The specialist will primarily execute Business Continuity workstreams, working closely with the client's Business Continuity leadership team to create a tailored program and quickly demonstrate value.

• Upon endorsement from the client lead, pilot innovative approaches and deliver independently in the following areas:

• Performing business impact assessments to identify key business functions, dependencies, recovery priorities, recovery requirements, and recovery time objectives.

• Conducting risk assessments to pinpoint potential threats and vulnerabilities to recovery capabilities, while recommending risk mitigation strategies.

• Developing and implementing effective strategies to minimize customer impacts and ensure prompt recovery of core business functions during and after disruptions.

• Facilitating business continuity training and awareness initiatives.

• Designing and leading impactful plan exercises; analyzing results to identify trends, weaknesses/gaps, risks, and opportunities for enhancing plans and strengthening resiliency.

• Overseeing the implementation of new tools for the Business Continuity function, collaborating with both internal and external partners to operationalize a solution tailored to the client context.

• Acting as a strategic partner to the client’s Business Continuity leadership team to develop a suitable program, employing creative thinking to optimally size resilience solutions for the client ecosystem.

• Serving as the primary contact for business continuity-related inquiries and support for stakeholders across the client enterprise.

• Analyzing large volumes of data to produce insightful reports that aid informed decision-making.

• Demonstrating expertise in emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in business continuity and disaster recovery to continually enhance strategies and support mechanisms within the client organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in implementing and managing business continuity or resilience programs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential for building relationships and positively influencing decision-making.

• Strong executive presence and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels, fostering productive relationships and influencing decisions.

• Innovative thinker and adept problem solver.

• Familiarity with commercial Business Continuity tools.

• Proficient in Google Suite and Gemini.

• Experience in aiding internal teams to respond and recover from significant disruptive incidents.

• Ability to thoroughly analyze data, existing processes, personnel, and technology challenges to uncover risks and opportunities.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including the written and verbal communication abilities necessary to build relationships and influence decision-making positively.

• Proven capability to meet deadlines while managing multiple complex projects.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.
