Business Continuity Program Manager

📋 Description

• Accountable for one or more applications/modules and delivers technical leadership in enhancing, developing, and supporting/maintaining these applications/modules within Ryder's IT Architecture.

• Offers guidance to IT support teams and assists projects and teams that require configuration and modifications to core applications/modules and integration of technology solutions.

• Engages in architecture design, performance monitoring, module evaluation, and making buy versus build decisions.

• Oversees end-to-end administrative tasks that encompass the platform, including analysis and design, troubleshooting, development and testing, implementation of monitoring solutions, documentation, and support for managed packaged upgrades.

• Monitors and communicates development progress, project status, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies to the project team, business stakeholders, and leadership.

• Provides technical expertise to the business.

• Configures the system to address Business and IT needs, user requests, process changes, and improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Informatics, or Engineering is required; other majors may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

• At least seven (7) years of experience working in an IT environment with exposure to various IT-related responsibilities and terminology is required.

• A minimum of five (5) years of system administration experience with a PPM platform is required.

• At least five (5) years of experience in process improvement within a business or technical environment is required.

• Strong background in IT Security, particularly in IT Risk, Vulnerability Management, and advanced system best practices is required.

• Proficiency in SQL scripting or similar scripting capabilities (fundamental skills at minimum) is required; intermediate skills preferred.

• Advanced system analysis skills (including data analysis) and process improvement capabilities (business and/or technical) are required.
