Business Consultant, Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Engage with retail executives and operational leaders to gain insights into business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.

• Facilitate discovery workshops with stakeholders from Supply Chain, Planning, Merchandising, Inventory Management, and Operations.

• Recognize operational gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement.

• Convert business challenges into actionable solution recommendations.

• Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the evaluation phase.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams to outline solution scope and business value.

• Assist in solution design, business case development, and customer presentations.

• Aid customers in comprehending how Onebeat addresses their operational challenges.

• Contribute to project planning and ensure readiness for implementation.

• Partner with Implementation and Customer Success teams during onboarding and the go-live process.

• Support customers in adopting new processes and methodologies.

• Monitor adoption rates and identify risks that may impact business outcomes.

• Assist in executive business reviews and value discussions.

• Identify opportunities for expansion based on proven customer success.

• Advocate for the customer perspective internally and relay feedback to Product and Leadership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant experience in retail, preferably in merchandising or planning.

• Exceptional presentation and communication abilities, particularly when addressing senior executive stakeholders.

• Capability to support client design and needs with hands-on execution.

• A motivated, driven mindset with a passion for learning and growth.

• A hands-on, individual contributor approach rather than an executive or managerial focus.

• Up to approximately 15 years of experience is encouraged.

• Background in Retail Technology Consulting, Retail Software Implementation, Supply Chain Consulting, or Retail Transformation projects.

• Experience with a software vendor, consulting firm, implementation partner, or system integrator catering to retail clients.

• Proven experience leading customer discovery workshops, business assessments, or solution design initiatives.

• Knowledge of inventory management, replenishment, allocation, merchandise planning, demand planning, supply chain, or retail operations.

• Fluent in Spanish.

• Good working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Experience in the Fashion Retail or Apparel industry.

• Familiarity with Oracle Retail, SAP Retail, Blue Yonder, RELEX, Manhattan, ToolsGroup, o9, Kinaxis, Aptos, Infor, or similar platforms.

• Experience in supporting inventory optimization, planning, replenishment, forecasting, or retail transformation initiatives.

• Experience working with enterprise retailers across LATAM.
