Business Configuration Analyst – Collections Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Identify and articulate the needs and requirements of systems and business lines.

• Coordinate the development and support of both new and existing applications and products.

• Act as the primary liaison among the line of business, software vendors, and the information technology team.

• Build a comprehensive understanding of the business line, encompassing the business plan, products, processes, and revenue streams.

• Oversee the definition of business requirements, development, system configuration, testing, defect identification and resolution, as well as implementation and support for both new and existing systems.

• Identify, research, and analyze production issues, formulating solutions and coordinating their resolution.

• Manage enhancements and projects aimed at sustaining productivity and efficiency.

• Ensure accountability in risk management by adhering to established policies and procedures.

• Serve as a liaison between IT, software vendors, and the business line to analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and address moderately complex system issues.

• Mentor and guide less experienced analysts throughout project tasks.

• Play a pivotal role in the planning, testing, and implementation of new products, system enhancements, and conversions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent level of work experience.

• At least four (4) years of experience in banking, financial services, or a related field.

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in project management.

• Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP certification is preferred.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in Operations, Manufacturing, or Quality sectors.

• Possess a comprehensive understanding of business systems and industry-specific requirements.

• Capable of presenting to senior leadership on sensitive topics.

• Skilled in facilitating large groups towards the development of shared solutions.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain adaptable.

• Competent in handling multiple projects, working under pressure, and adjusting to sudden changes in the work environment.

• Proficient in Windows-based software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).
