This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Deliver direct assistance to Business Banking clients regarding onboarding, sales, service, and ongoing relationship management.
• Cultivate and enhance client engagement by overseeing customer relationships, service interactions, credit processes, deposit services, and treasury solutions.
• Offer guidance, mentorship, and training to the RSI and RSII positions.
• Coordinate the execution of client sales and service alongside Business Banking Teams and partner organizations.
• Ensure that all incoming customer requests, inquiries, and escalated issues are addressed in a consistent and professional manner.
• Conduct necessary research and maintenance to provide or facilitate effective solutions.
• Act as a backup for other Relationship Specialists when required.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues while communicating “best practices” for consistent solutions.
• Prepare reports for Business Banking teams and stakeholders.
• Comply with all relevant laws and regulations governing bank operations.
• Assist with new account deposit openings and manage the implementation of all related product setups for cross-selling.
• Proactively manage overdrafts, unposted items, and loan payment issues requiring correction.
• Oversee the communication and documentation of all policies and procedures.
• Foster a shared knowledge base within teams and ensure consistent execution of Business Banking customer service procedures.
• Open Business Banking deposit accounts in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
• Facilitate the cross-selling of associated products during new deposit openings.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to coordinate the setup and onboarding of Treasury products.
• Prepare tickets, OTEs, and/or wire transfers as necessary.
• Mentor, coach, and train both new and existing Relationship Specialists.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of seven years of experience in business, retail banking, or a related industry is required.
• Experience in customer service and Business Loan processes is required.
• Familiarity with CSI or similar document preparation banking software.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suites.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
• Well-organized with strong attention to detail.
• Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks effectively.
