Business Applications Analyst – FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive financial dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI.

• Utilize Microsoft Fabric and our newly established EDW to optimize financial data models and reporting processes.

• Streamline manual finance operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the FP&A team.

• Oversee and manage finance-specific business applications along with their associated data frameworks.

• Collaborate with FP&A team members to assess financial figures, variances, and trends to aid essential business functions.

• Record business requirements, data definitions, and technical specifications for financial reporting.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the Finance team and IT/Data Engineering for system upgrades and enhancement initiatives.

• Assist in data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance to guarantee utmost accuracy in financial reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

• 5-10 years of experience in the Finance sector.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using Power BI to create intricate, business-oriented dashboards.

• Practical experience with Enterprise Data Warehouses (experience with Microsoft Fabric is highly desirable).

• Strong grasp of financial principles, FP&A cycles, and conventional business metrics.

• Expertise in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

• Proven track record in automating processes and enhancing reporting efficiency.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convert complex financial requirements into technical data solutions.

• Self-motivated individual with a strong inclination to analyze numbers and support the wider finance team.
