This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Convert business requirements into precise user stories and acceptance criteria
• Conduct sessions for gathering requirements and ensure clear follow-up actions
• Evaluate business processes, data flows, and system interactions
• Negotiate and suggest solutions that balance technical viability, timelines, and business requirements
• Create Decision Analysis and Resolutions (DAR) documentation for customer evaluation and approval
• Comprehend operational processes and pinpoint areas for improvement
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to provide AI recommendations for enhancing processes
• Assist in editing, updating, and reporting documentation for senior leadership meetings
• Guide an Agile team utilizing the Scrum development framework
• Work in partnership with AI Engineers, Governance and Security leaders, Data Scientists, developers, solution architects, and stakeholders from federal agencies
• Document and implement a roadmap to expand a governed and secure AI platform
• Convert requirements into documentation and conceptual design for an Azure and Databricks application
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years of experience as a software business analyst, ideally with AI tools and concepts
• 2+ years of recent experience as a business analyst and a member of cross-functional teams in an Agile setting, including Scrum or Kanban
• Proven experience in leading requirements management
• Proficient in requirements gathering and documentation
• Experience in defining user stories and establishing acceptance criteria
• 2+ years of experience using Jira or similar Agile project management software
• In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Requirements Management, and Scope Management methodologies
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and product management abilities
• Must be eligible for and maintain Public Trust
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications
• Proven experience in cloud modernization initiatives on AWS or Azure
• Preferred certifications: Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Product Owner
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe
• Documented experience in leading Scrum teams and facilitating the unblocking of development teams
• Proficient in managing and aligning requirements across various teams and stakeholders
• Experience collaborating with a Product Owner to groom and prioritize the backlog
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Mural, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, approved LLMs, Databricks Bot, and other third-party applications
