Business Analyst, Risk Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist the Risk stream in providing scalable, high-quality solutions.

• Carry out business and systems analysis with a focus on IT integration in the banking sector.

• Implement, analyze, optimize, and automate banking IT systems and processes.

• Suggest transformative solutions and innovative operational enhancements.

• Utilize data analytics and customer feedback to inform decision-making.

• Work collaboratively with Risk and Operations teams on debt collection and fraud prevention initiatives.

• Investigate vendor and product integrations.

• Partner with Product Owners, development teams, design, and other internal stakeholders.

• Facilitate rigorous A/B testing and effective troubleshooting.

• Develop BRDs, FSDs, specifications, User Stories, Test Cases, and Use Cases.

• Employ systems thinking, engage in testing, and collaborate with development teams.

• Take charge of discovery, requirements documentation, and delivery support during the initial three months.

• Lead integration and automation projects within a timeframe of 6–9 months.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1+ years of experience in business/systems analysis, IT integration, or within a FinTech environment.

• Proficiency in navigating and enhancing FinTech processes and IT systems.

• Strong expertise in specifications, databases, software tools, problem-solving, and testing methodologies.

• Excellent decision-making skills that balance development costs with business goals.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with APIs, system logs such as Splunk, SQL, and DBMS principles.

• Previous experience in startup environments with organizations of 100–300 employees is advantageous.

• Proven experience in developing successful financial products is a plus.

• Proficiency in English is required.
