Business Analyst – Process Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements through interviews, workshops, process flows, and various other methods.

• Convert business needs into comprehensive user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.

• Confirm requirements with stakeholders to guarantee accuracy, clarity, and alignment with business objectives.

• Oversee requirements traceability throughout the project's lifecycle.

• Independently assess competing business requirements and provide prioritization recommendations based on business value, risk, and operational impact.

• Evaluate existing business processes, workflows, and systems to pinpoint inefficiencies and opportunities for enhancement.

• Create process models, gap analyses, and documentation comparing “as-is” and “to-be” states.

• Analyze alternative business and technology solutions and offer recommendations regarding process design, implementation strategies, operational efficiencies, and business results.

• Conduct business impact assessments and risk analyses to aid organizational decision-making.

• Suggest solutions that improve efficiency, lower costs, and enhance user experience.

• Act as a liaison between business units, product owners, and technical teams to ensure a mutual understanding of requirements and priorities.

• Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and discussions across various functions.

• Provide clear and concise documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, process diagrams, and user manuals.

• Assist testing efforts by clarifying requirements, reviewing test cases, and validating testing outcomes.

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Product Owners to prioritize requirements and manage project scope.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with business stakeholders and validating deliverables.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, business analysis practices, and relevant technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, ideally in IT, product development, or process improvement.

• Strong understanding of requirements gathering techniques and process modeling tools.

• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.

• Strong communication and facilitation skills with a capacity to collaborate across business and technical teams.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Preferred: CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or other Business Analyst certifications.

• Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).

• Exposure to data analysis, SQL, or BI/reporting tools.

• Background in change management and stakeholder engagement.

• Industry-specific knowledge (ecommerce, promotional products, or relevant domain).
