This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to comprehend operational challenges, pinpoint improvement opportunities, and establish business objectives.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, interviews, and requirement validation meetings.
• Evaluate current-state processes and devise future-state enhancements.
• Convert business needs into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, workflows, use cases, and requirements documentation.
• Assist in Agile Transformation and Product Delivery practices, including backlog readiness, story refinement, sprint planning, release planning, and ensuring delivery predictability.
• Work alongside Scrum Masters, project managers, developers, QA, DevOps, architecture, security, data engineers, vendors, and technical teams.
• Spearhead the definition of reporting and dashboard requirements, encompassing KPIs, metrics, data definitions, priorities, and anticipated outcomes.
• Analyze ERP and enterprise data to uncover trends, risks, root causes, process gaps, and opportunities for decision-making.
• Ensure data integrity and support initiatives related to data governance, master data quality, and data mapping.
• Create functional specifications for custom development, integrations, APIs, interfaces, and data flows.
• Write or validate SQL queries to troubleshoot data issues and verify reporting logic.
• Formulate test scenarios and test cases, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document defects, and validate delivered solutions.
• Maintain requirements, process flows, workflows, data mappings, gap analyses, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
• Present findings, risks, issues, recommendations, and delivery updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage shifting priorities while ensuring alignment with scope, stakeholder expectations, and delivery focus.
• 7–10+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst within a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
• 5+ years supporting enterprise technology, data, analytics, BI, or ERP-related initiatives.
• Background in manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, finance, procurement, inventory, warehouse operations, sales order management, customer service, or similar fields.
• Strong business analysis capabilities, including requirements elicitation, process modeling, gap analysis, root cause analysis, workflow documentation, solution evaluation, and change management.
• Experience with enterprise software implementations, ERP enhancements, BI initiatives, integrations, testing, UAT, and production readiness.
• Solid understanding of Agile Scrum, Kanban, SDLC, hybrid delivery methods, backlog management, sprint planning, story refinement, acceptance criteria, retrospectives, release planning, and change management.
• Proficient in Business Intelligence concepts, data analysis, SQL, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile delivery tools.
• Ability to understand relational database structures, data flows, integrations, reporting logic, and enterprise data quality.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including risk assessment, problem solving, prioritization, and decision-making.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, executive-level presentation, facilitation, active listening, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Capability to build relationships across business units, technical teams, vendors, product stakeholders, and leadership audiences.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; adept at managing multiple priorities and complex cross-functional tasks.
• Ability to work independently while effectively influencing across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Preferred certifications include CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, CSPO, PSM I, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Infor M3 Functional Certification, or Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Hands-on experience with Infor M3 ERP is preferred but not mandatory.
• Preferred experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Infor Birst, Cognos, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, SQL Server, Oracle, REST APIs, JSON, or XML.
