This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.
• Assist in the daily operations of business technology systems to meet both business and customer requirements.
• Work in conjunction with business, development, and analyst teams to create technical and functional documentation.
• Evaluate, analyze, modify, author, and execute test plans and checklists for change requests.
• Verify that system modifications function correctly, existing processes are not disrupted, and user requirements are satisfied.
• Identify, track, monitor, and report project issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies.
• Offer intermediate technical consultation regarding integrated business application processes.
• Collaborate with, oversee, and guide both onsite and offsite vendors.
• Investigate, recommend, and support the implementation of new technologies and vendor solutions.
• Communicate systems processes, procedures, and best practices throughout the organization.
• Develop, contribute to, and facilitate training on application functionality and best practices.
• Maintain documentation related to SDLC, application change management, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Adhere to security best practices to ensure the safety and integrity of applications.
• Provide escalated IT Help Desk support, including after-hours assistance when necessary.
• Ensure that business requirements align with application solutions and services.
• Assist departmental staff with technical challenges related to business applications.
• Deliver vendor performance feedback and validate expenditures to IT management.
• Carry out other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
• A 4-year STEM degree or equivalent experience is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience is necessary.
• Prior experience in e-commerce, accounts payable/receivable processing, sales, marketing, customer service, shipping and receiving, wholesale distribution, EDI, or system/business analysis is preferred.
• Familiarity with enterprise application platforms like SAP or Oracle is preferred.
• A solid understanding of business processes and their interconnections, including integrated systems.
• Proficient in PC, Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of SAP MM purchasing, inventory management, source determination, and Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA supporting MM and integrated business processes in a project or enhancement environment.
• Strong understanding of SAP master data, including Material Master, Vendor/Supplier Master, Purchasing Info Records, Source Lists, and plant/material extensions.
• Capability to analyze and troubleshoot SAP MM data utilizing MARA, MARC, MARD, EINA, EINE, LFA1/BP, EKKO, EKPO, and EKBE tables.
• Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, functional specification writing, and business process documentation.
• Background in testing and UAT support, including test script creation, defect triage, issue resolution, and business validation.
• Understanding of MM integration points with SD, FI/CO, WM/EWM, Ariba, EDI, APIs, and reporting solutions.
• Skills in data analysis and reporting using SAP reports, Fiori apps, CDS views, Excel, Power Query, or similar tools.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to independently learn new systems and processes.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, manage multiple IT projects, and meet deadlines.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively across geographical, functional, and cultural boundaries.
• Strong problem-solving, functional, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and resolve time-sensitive issues effectively.
• Proficient in communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
