This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Become an essential member of our product team, playing a key role in transforming business challenges into actionable solutions.
• Collect and interpret requirements, develop story cards and acceptance criteria, assist with story mapping, document future-state processes, and ensure that solutions are primed for successful implementation.
• Enhance visibility into our impact on the business by generating reports and analyses to monitor improvements, demonstrate value, and identify operational gaps.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business partners, product owners, technical teams, QA, vendors, and project teams.
• Evaluate current-state processes, pinpoint friction points, and help articulate future-state workflows.
• Leverage data to uncover operational gaps, validate or refute assumptions, and aid leadership in making informed decisions.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related discipline.
• 4-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or a comparable position.
• Proficiency in Agile project methodologies, encompassing story mapping, backlog management, story card creation, and development of acceptance criteria.
• Experience in creating process flow diagrams, requirements documentation, wireframes, mockups, or similar business analysis deliverables.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio or equivalent process-mapping applications.
• Capability to comfortably navigate between business and technical teams, translating needs for diverse audiences.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the skill to validate assumptions and identify root causes.
• Capacity to work autonomously, manage uncertainty, escalate risks when necessary, and handle multiple priorities effectively.
