Business Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with various departments, such as Operations, IT, QA, and Training, to facilitate business projects and system improvements.

• Engage in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that system modifications meet business needs.

• Develop and update documentation, which includes business requirements documents (BRDs), workflows, and process maps.

• Track and report on project developments, including the management of risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Work with internal teams to ensure prompt resolution of escalations.

• Aid in evaluating existing business processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement and optimization.

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of organizational operations, workflows, and the relevant policies and regulations associated with the NJ FamilyCare Managed Care Program.

• Effectively juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while adhering to deadlines.

• Execute additional tasks as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).

• Capacity to learn and execute technical responsibilities in a systems-oriented environment.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM ET or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM ET.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

• Up to 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar position.

• Familiarity with ticketing systems, workflow tools, or issue-tracking software.

• Background in healthcare, government programs, or environments related to eligibility/services.
